How to claim your writing reward

When one of your live posts has a creator reward, a Claim button appears next to it, visible only to you. Claiming is a payout request: QuirkKit sends it by hand and you get a notification when it's paid.

Claim in four steps

1. Sign in and open your post (or find it in the feed). You'll see its reward and a Claim button.

2. Use the slider to choose how much to withdraw, from 1% to 100%. Whatever you leave stays on the post.

3. Pick a currency: BTC, ETH or SOL (within 1 day) or USD, EUR, INR or AED by bank transfer (within 3 days).

4. Enter your wallet address or bank details and press Claim. Done.

What happens next

Your claim goes into a review queue and the amount leaves the post's reward straight away, so it can't be claimed twice. When it's sent you get a notification in the bell next to your name. If a claim is rejected, for example because the address was invalid, you're told and the amount returns to the reward pool.

An honest note: QuirkKit is new. Until its first ad revenue arrives, rewards are paid out of pocket by QuirkKit directly.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see a Claim button?

The button only shows to the post's owner, once the post is approved and has a reward above $0. Make sure you're signed in with the same account you wrote it with.

Can I claim part of my reward?

Yes. The slider lets you withdraw any share from 1% to 100%; the rest stays on the post for later.

How long does a payout take?

Crypto payouts arrive within 1 day, bank transfers within 3 days.

Can I have two claims open on the same post?

No, one claim per post is reviewed at a time. Once it's paid or rejected you can claim again.
