How to Write a Page About Your Brand or Work on QuirkKit

By quirkkitapp · 2026-10-11

If someone from QuirkKit invited you to publish here, this is the page to read first. It takes about five minutes and it ends with one thing: a live page about your company or your work, with a link back to you.

Publishing is free. There's no fee, no paid placement and nothing to unlock. QuirkKit doesn't pay for these pages either. Creator rewards are planned from ad revenue, and ads aren't live yet.

Write a story, not an ad

The pages people actually read answer a question or tell them something they didn't know. A page that reads like a brochure gets skimmed and closed.

Pick one angle. Any of these work:

- Why you started. The problem you kept running into and what you did about it.
- One thing you learned the hard way, and what you'd tell someone starting now.
- A how-to from your own expertise, even if it doesn't mention your product until the end.
- One project, client or piece of work, told start to finish.

Leave out price lists, discount codes, "best in the world" claims and a sign-up button in every paragraph. One honest story does more for you than five calls to action.

Shape the page

A QuirkKit post is a title and your text. A simple shape that works:

- A title that tells the reader what they'll get, not just your company name.
- An opening of two or three sentences that says who you are and what this page is about.
- Three to five short sections. To make a heading, put a line on its own, with a blank line above and below, that's 60 characters or fewer and doesn't end in punctuation (no full stop, question mark or colon). Or start the line with # and a space.
- One link to your own site or profile, near the end, where it makes sense in the story. Paste the full address, starting with https://. It shows as the address itself and is clickable, so use your cleanest URL.

Keep it to one idea. A focused 500 to 900 words is plenty.

Clean it up before you publish

QuirkKit's free tools (https://quirkkit.com/tools) help here. Grammar Check finds grammar and clarity issues (10 checks a day after you sign in), and Word Counter shows length and reading time with no sign-in.

Publish and wait for review

Sign in with Google, GitHub or X, open the editor, add your title and text, and publish. A QuirkKit admin reviews every post before it goes live, which keeps the site free of spam. You'll get a notification when it's approved. QuirkKit doesn't state a review time, and approval isn't guaranteed. Posts that read as ads are the likeliest to come back.

What you get, and what you don't

Once approved, your page has its own address that search engines can find, and you can share it anywhere. It carries a link back to your site for readers who want more.

It doesn't come with a set number of readers, a search ranking or a payment.

A quick example

This is a made-up example, just to show the shape:

Title: Why We Stopped Using Spreadsheets for Our Bakery Orders
Opening: who runs the bakery, and the week the order sheet broke.
Sections: what went wrong, what we tried, what stuck, what we'd do differently.
Close: one line and a link to the bakery's site.
