What Is Live on QuirkKit Right Now, and What Is Not

By quirkkitapp · 2026-10-06

As of 6 October 2026, you can sign up for QuirkKit, publish a post, and use nine free writing tools. What you can't do yet is earn from your posts, because ads aren't live on the site and there are no creator payouts yet.

So if you're asking whether a post here can pay you yet, the short answer is no. Here's what's switched on, what isn't, and how to decide if writing here still makes sense for you.

What the homepage says, and what it means

QuirkKit launched on 2 October 2026. The homepage headline is "Write it. Post it. Get paid for it." Right under it, you'll read: "Writer rewards are planned from ad revenue. Ads aren't live yet, so there are no creator payouts yet. When they start, you'll be able to choose Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, or a bank payout in USD, EUR, INR, or AED. Readers can tip writers directly in crypto. Publishing is free, and so are 9 writing tools."

That is the current status, not money moving today. Creator rewards come from ad revenue. There are no ads yet, so there's no ad revenue to share.

What's live today

Here's what you can actually do on QuirkKit now.

Sign up for free. You sign in with Google, GitHub or X.

Write a post. A post is a title and your text. There's no word-count minimum. Essays, guides, stories and tips all fit.

Get reviewed. A QuirkKit admin reviews every post before it goes live. You get a notification when it's approved.

Use the free tools. There are nine: Word Counter, Blog Title Generator, Grammar Check, AI Text Detector, Poetrifier, Word to HTML, Image Beautifier, QR Code Generator and Excel Beautifier.

A quick note on the tools. Each tool page says you can start with no sign-up for your first runs. Grammar Check is capped at 10 checks per day, so plan your edits around that. The Word Counter shows words, characters, sentences and reading time, and nothing you paste is uploaded.

The get-paid page says signing up, writing and publishing cost nothing, and that there are no creator payouts yet because ads aren't live. You don't need a portfolio, a following or a website of your own to start.

What isn't live yet

Ads aren't running on QuirkKit. That matters because creator rewards are funded by ad revenue. No ads means no ad revenue, and no ad revenue means no creator rewards to pay out.

So there's no creator payout for you to claim yet.

When ads do exist, the payout options listed on the site are Bitcoin, Ethereum or Solana, or a bank transfer in USD, EUR, INR or AED.

Even then, the get-paid page is clear that there's no fixed rate and no guaranteed amount. QuirkKit sets each reward per post from a shared pool.

Tips are a separate thing

Tips and creator rewards are easy to mix up. They aren't the same.

A tip goes straight from a reader's wallet to the writer's wallet. You add your own address once under "My tip wallet," and your posts show a Tip button with your QR code. Readers can tip in SOL, USDT on BNB Smart Chain, BTC or ETH, whichever you've added. QuirkKit takes no cut and never holds the money.

A tip isn't an ad payout. It doesn't mean creator rewards have started. And a Tip button on your post doesn't mean anyone will use it. That's up to readers.

One more difference worth knowing. USDT is a tip coin only. Creator rewards, once they exist, are set up to be claimed in BTC, ETH or SOL for crypto, not USDT.

About the claim page

QuirkKit has a public page on how to claim a writing reward. It says there are no creator payouts yet and nothing to claim, because ads aren't live. It then walks through how claiming is meant to work once a post has a reward: open your post, pick how much to withdraw with a slider, choose a currency, and enter your wallet or bank details.

It does not promise how fast a payout would arrive. And it says the Claim button only shows to the post's owner, once the post is approved and actually has a reward on it.

Read all of that as the design of a process. It isn't a sign that payouts are going out this week. The page says writer rewards are planned from ad revenue only, and that out-of-pocket rewards are not available. As of today, ads are off and there are no creator payouts.

FAQ answers on the earn pages say the same thing. They describe how claiming is meant to work once ads are live, not what's happening today.

Should you still write here?

That's your call. If you want to, here's an honest way to think about it.

Write something true and useful. A clear guide, a story you care about, a tip you wish someone had given you. Run it through the free tools first. Then publish it and let it stand on its own.

Treat any future reward as unset. It isn't income, so don't plan a bill around it. If rewards start later, think of them as a bonus on a post you'd be glad to have written anyway.

If you want the full picture of how earning is designed, read how earning works on QuirkKit: https://quirkkit.com/earn/get-paid-to-write. Then write a post only if the status above still makes sense for you.
